The Ather EL platform marks a significant evolution in Ather Energy's scooter lineup. Unlike its predecessors, the EL platform is modular and scalable, allowing Ather to introduce multiple models across various segments. This flexibility is achieved through a new chassis design, an upgraded powertrain, and a fully re-engineered software stack. The platform also incorporates features like an Advanced Electronic Braking System (AEBS) and a Charge Drive Controller, which integrates the onboard charger with the motor controller, eliminating the need for a portable charger.
