Hero MotoCorp, India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, is preparing to strengthen its premium motorcycle portfolio with the launch of the Hero Mavrick 440. The bike was first showcased at the Hero World 2024 event and has since generated considerable buzz among enthusiasts. Positioned as a muscular roadster with cruiser-inspired elements, the Mavrick 440 is designed to appeal to riders seeking a powerful yet practical motorcycle for both city rides and highway cruising.
Engine and Performance
At the core of the Mavrick 440 is a 440cc, oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine, co-developed with Harley-Davidson as part of Hero’s collaboration on the Harley-Davidson X440 platform. The motor is tuned to deliver around 27 bhp of power and 36 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox and slipper-assist clutch for smooth gear shifts.
This setup ensures strong low- and mid-range performance, making it ideal for everyday use as well as long-distance touring.
