KTM is gearing up to launch its much-anticipated 650 Duke in India, expected to hit the market in early 2026. Developed with a focus on performance, affordability, and local manufacturing, this middleweight naked streetfighter is set to shake up the mid-capacity motorcycle segment.

The KTM 650 Duke will be powered by a 650–690cc parallel-twin engine producing around 80 bhp and 70 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. This engine platform will also serve as the base for other KTM models like the RC 650 and 650 Adventure, ensuring advanced technology is offered at an aggressive price point.

Manufactured locally at Bajaj’s Chakan plant, KTM aims to deliver a competitive price of Rs.6.5–7.5 lakh (ex-showroom). Enthusiasts can expect a preview at EICMA 2025, followed by the official launch in January 2026.

The KTM 650 Duke is set to rival mid-capacity bikes like the Triumph Trident 660, Honda CB650R, and the Yamaha MT-07, which is expected to launch in India later this year. Early spy images reveal a design inspired by the KTM 790 Duke, with KTM engineering working to create a stylish and cohesive package that retains the brand’s signature aggressive stance.

With a blend of power, style, and value, the KTM 650 Duke promises to be a strong contender for riders looking for an exciting middleweight streetfighter.
