TVS Motor Company continues to innovate with the Raider 125 Flex-Fuel, a new version of its popular Raider 125 designed to run on ethanol-petrol blends up to E85. Unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024, this motorcycle combines performance, style, and eco-conscious technology, giving riders more flexibility in fuel choice while reducing environmental impact.
Engine and Performance
The Raider 125 Flex-Fuel is powered by a 124.8 cc, air-cooled single-cylinder engine, capable of producing 11.2 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 11.2 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. It comes with a 5-speed gearbox and TVS’ Flex Fuel Technology (FFT), which allows the engine to adapt seamlessly to ethanol blends ranging from E20 to E85 without compromising performance.
Design and Features
The bike features a striking black-and-green color scheme with “FFT” branding and matching green rim tape on its alloy wheels. Its full LED headlamp and tail lamp give it a modern look, complemented by a digital instrument console with optional Bluetooth connectivity. Riders can enjoy telescopic front forks, a 5-step preload-adjustable monoshock rear, and 17-inch alloy wheels for confident handling.
Brakes and Chassis
For safety, the Raider 125 Flex-Fuel is equipped with a 240 mm front disc and a 130 mm rear drum brake, mounted on a chassis similar to the standard Raider 125 model. This ensures reliability while maintaining the lightweight and sporty feel of the bike.
Launch and Pricing
The TVS Raider 125 Flex-Fuel is expected to launch in India around mid to late 2025, with an estimated ex-showroom price between Rs.1,00,000 and Rs.1,10,000 depending on the city.
