The Citroen C3 Aircross is set to receive a significant facelift, transforming it from a comfortable but basic SUV into a feature-rich and more competitive offering. This update is a direct response to customer feedback and aims to position the C3 Aircross more strongly against its rivals in the highly competitive Indian mid-size SUV segment. While the model is still a few months from its official launch, the new features and design elements have been a topic of keen interest.

A Feature-Packed Interior

The most substantial changes for the facelifted C3 Aircross are on the inside. Addressing the current model's perceived lack of features, the updated cabin is expected to include a long list of highly sought-after amenities. These include:

* Ventilated Front Seats: A crucial addition for Indian summers, providing enhanced comfort for the driver and co-passenger.

* Automatic Climate Control: A significant upgrade from the manual air conditioning of the current model.

* Push-Button Start/Stop with Keyless Entry: Adding a layer of modern convenience.

* 360-Degree Cameras: This advanced safety and convenience feature will make parking and maneuvering in tight spaces much easier.

* Sunroof: While a panoramic sunroof is unlikely, a single-pane sunroof is expected to give the cabin a more airy feel.

In addition to these features, the interior will also get a design refresh, including new upholstery options and a redesigned center console.

Subtle Exterior Tweaks

The exterior of the facelifted C3 Aircross will see minor but impactful changes. The updated model is likely to sport new front and rear bumpers, a revised grille, and new LED headlamps and taillights that will give it a fresh look. New alloy wheel designs are also expected to be part of the package, enhancing the vehicle's road presence.

Unchanged Mechanicals

Under the hood, the facelifted C3 Aircross will retain the same powertrain options. It will continue to be powered by the reliable 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine, which produces 110 PS and 205 Nm of torque. Customers will still have the choice of a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The car will also continue to be offered in both five- and seven-seater configurations, maintaining its reputation for practicality and versatility.

Launch and Market Positioning

The Citroen C3 Aircross facelift is expected to be launched in India in early 2026. With the addition of new features, it is likely to be priced slightly higher than the current model. While an official price has not been announced, the ex-showroom price is estimated to start from around Rs 10.25 lakh. With its enhanced feature list, the updated C3 Aircross is ready to compete more aggressively with rivals like the Tata Curvv, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
