The Skoda Kylaq is a new subcompact SUV in India, aimed at competing in the popular sub-4-meter segment with models like the Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, and Maruti Brezza. Positioned for urban and rugged settings, it features robust cladding, high ground clearance, and five color options, including the eye-catching Olive Gold. The Kylaq's headlights follow Skoda's distinct "Modern Solid" design with advanced LED elements across all trims, providing daytime running lights, indicators, and both low and high beams.

The Kylaq is powered by a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine generating 115 PS and 178 Nm of torque, available with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. Inside, the Kylaq offers a tech-forward experience with a 10.1-inch infotainment screen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and an 8-inch digital cockpit for key driving data. Its interior design emphasizes space, comfort, and functionality, with a large 446-liter boot expandable to 1,265 liters. The SUV also includes Skoda's "Simply Clever" features, like dedicated storage compartments and convenient hooks for bags.

In terms of safety, the Kylaq provides up to 35 safety features in select variants, including six airbags, electronic stability control, and a tire pressure monitoring system, ensuring a secure ride. Prices for the Kylaq range from around ?7.89 lakh for the base Classic variant to approximately ?14.59 lakh for the top-spec Prestige AT variant
