VinFast, the fast-growing Vietnamese EV manufacturer, is preparing to bring its compact electric SUV, the VF3, to global markets including India. Positioned above the base variant, the VF3 is designed to offer practicality, affordability, and modern electric mobility in a small yet capable package.

The vehicle is equipped with an 18.64 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, delivering a claimed range of 200–210 km on a single charge. Fast-charging capability allows the battery to recharge from 10% to 70% in just 36 minutes, making it highly convenient for daily commutes.

Inside, the VF3 balances simplicity with modern functionality. The above-base trims are expected to feature a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, folding rear seats for added boot space, and practical cabin storage. Expected Price in India
VinFast is planning to localise production in India with its Tamil Nadu facility, which is expected to keep costs competitive. The VF3 is likely to be priced in the range of Rs.7.5 lakh to Rs.10 lakh (ex-showroom) for the above-base variant, making it one of the most affordable electric SUVs in the Indian market.
Rivals and Positioning
