MG Motor India has unveiled its latest full-size SUV, the MG Majestor, at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. Positioned above the MG Gloster, this rugged and feature-packed SUV aims to compete with premium models like the Toyota Fortuner and Jeep Meridian.
Bold and Rugged Design
The MG Majestor boasts an imposing stance with a large blacked-out grille, sleek LED DRLs, and vertically stacked headlights. Black cladding along the body and a silver skid plate enhance its muscular appeal. While official dimensions are yet to be revealed, it's expected to be longer and wider than the Gloster, making it one of the biggest SUVs in its class.
Premium Interior and Features
The cabin is designed for luxury and comfort, featuring:
* 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system
* All-digital instrument cluster
* Panoramic sunroof
* 12-speaker premium audio system
* Three-zone climate control
* Heated, ventilated, and massaging seats
On the safety front, it is expected to include Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, and tire pressure monitoring system.
Powertrain and Performance
The Majestor is likely to be powered by a 2.0L twin-turbo diesel engine producing around 215 bhp and 480 Nm of torque, mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. It will come with both RWD and 4WD options, making it suitable for both urban and off-road adventures.
Expected Launch and Price
MG is expected to launch the Majestor in late 2025, with an estimated price range of ?40-45 lakh. It will directly challenge the Toyota Fortuner, Jeep Meridian, and Skoda Kodiaq in the premium SUV segment.
